Philips Respironics M10 - Product Review

Philips Respironics Millennium M10 is a high flow stationary concentrator that provides continuous flow upto 10LPM. The concentrator has a unique feature of filling oxygen cylinders at home using an additional device manufactured by Philips itself.

What you would like about Philips Respironics Millennium M10:

• Separate visual indicator for each type of alarm
• Approx 2-3 kg lighter than the competition
• Optional UltraFill Oxygen filling station can fill oxygen cylinders at home
• 4 layer filtering system

What you won’t:

• The price of optional UltraFill Oxygen Filling station is almost thrice the price of Millennium M10.
• Operational altitude is just upto 1,368 feet (417m) which is too low as compared to 10,000 feet (3,048m) of all major competitors.

UltraFill Oxygen Filling Station

Millennium M10 has a separate UltraFill connection port for connecting UltraFill Oxygen filling station. With this filling station, oxygen cylinders of upto 3000 psi can be filled when connected to the concentrator.

This makes it a good option for patients who require portable cylinders for outdoors.

The cylinder can be filled while the patient is taking Oxygen from the concentrator because of two different ports for both applications.

The concentrator provides maximum of 7LPM continuous flow while filling an oxygen cylinder.

Looks like an ultimate combo but the Cylinder filling station costs about 3 times more than the concentrator.

Size

Dimensions (27”H x 19”W x 13”D) are at par with the competition.

Weight - 24 kg Millennium M10 is:

The humidifier is screwed directly on the Oxygen outlet of the machine. Some people have reported difficulty in fixing the humidifier. Very easy to clean once fixed.
